Both main and mizzen masts went back into the Wally 105, Nariida earlier this morning. Due to the lack of space in the yard we had stacked the mizzen ontop of the main mast so with both rigs dressed in the mast trollies the operation to lift the mizzen was carried out slowly.
Once clear the mizzen was swung over the boat, stepped and secured. The crane was then disconnected and was hooked up to the main and the operation carried out again. With the main mast in and secured the crane then lifted the booms into position and Russ, Mark and Mickey started the tuning of both masts which was completed this afternoon, just in time for the high winds expected tomorrow. A busy day, but a job well done.
