First thing on Monday morning saw one of our rigging teams setting up the cranes necessary for the removal of the deck stepped mast onboard the 30 meter sloop Blue Diamond. With most of the prep work carried out before the weekend the unstep procedure went ahead without any fuss and the rig stripping procedure was started straight away as space in the yard is at a premium right now.
While Blue Diamond was underway the stunning ketch Kamaxitha was launched allowing us to re-step the mizzen mast that has been out for modifications to the spreaders and other service work. Once again the boys did a great job and the mast went back in with minimum fuss.
