Winches are an expensive and vital part on your sailing yacht. These hard-working winches tend to be subjected to heavy loads, and without regular maintenance they tire and wear very quickly.

When servicing winches, more grease is not necessarily better. These winches below have been over-greased. These winches had to be thoroughly cleaned out before re-starting the whole servicing process over again.
