RSB Rigging Solutions was contracted to supply the running rigging package on yet another new build by Vitters Shipyard: S/Y Ribelle

With an overall length of 32.5m, Ribelle is the second Vitters superyacht to have been designed by Malcolm McKeon Yacht Design, after the delivery of Missy in 2016.

Steve Branagh, founder RSB comments on the details of the project,

‘RSB completed the new running rigging package for Ribelle using the latest rope technology from Gotifredi Maffioli ropes. The ropes were built using the Race78 NPT product that has a heat set Dyneema core and a Technora Polyester blended cover to deal with the high loads, heat and the abrasion generated when sailing. The halyards and some sheets have been tipped with a Dyneema sock for extra chafe protection where running through sheaves and halyard locks. This is the 5th prestigious new build project our team has worked with in the last two years. Our ability to spec, build and supply a high quality package has meant that we continue to be industry leaders in the rigging market. Ribelle just finished 2nd in the Loro Piana super yacht regatta in Sardinia and the captain is very happy with the package and looking forward to racing the Super Yacht Cup in Palma in two weeks.’
