Rig Inspections
An RSB technician will carry out a full visual inspection of the mast, boom and associated hardware. A full report detailing any problems and the work necessary to rectify these issues will be generated. The rig log will be updated and a copy of all works carried out will be supplied to the boat and sent to the mast manufacturer if necessary.
Annual inspections
The mast is de-jacked to unload the rods and where possible all rod heads and fittings are cleaned and re-lubricated. The mast is re-jacked and any necessary tuning carried out. A full report is prepared for the boat and if necessary copied to the mast manufacturer.

4 YEAR SERVICE
Mast un-stepping preparation and visual inspections are made. Measurements are then taken of spreader angles pre-bend and turnbuckle and furler settings. Once unstepped the rig is undressed and reheading or replacing of the fore and aft stays, diagonal rods can be carried out as manufacturer recommendations…

4 YEAR SERVICE
At this time it is recommended that all the diagonals and fore and aft rods are re-headed and Aramid cables are replaced. Any hardware and pins are thoroughly cleaned before nondestructive testing (NDT) is carried out to check for cracks and unseen flaws...

Once the necessary work has been carried out the mast is re-stepped. The rig log is updated and a copy of this sent to the boat and if necessary to the mast manufacturer. Composite rigging would undergo a full visual inspection and work carried out as per the manufacturers guidelines.
