Steve started RSB Rigging Solutions in September 2005. With his 20+ years experience as a yacht captain and involvement in the marine industry, Steve has built a loyal, motivated and talented team. He sails with many of RSB's clients in regattas worldwide keeping RSB in the forefront of the ever-changing superyacht industry.
Marina has been with RSB since 2011 and is responsible for the administration of the company and the day to day running of the office. Her attention to detail, patience and efficiency mean that all our customers enjoy dealing with her. Marina deals with customer accounts, the requests for quotes and the purchasing and shipping of parts. Marina is very efficient and understands how important it is that schedules are adhered to and projects and paperwork are completed on time.
Andy joined us in 2010. He has been involved in the rigging industry for more than 10 years and brings a wealth of knowledge to the RSB team. Andy is involved with many of our refit projects and runs one of the yard teams that are responsible for preparing masts for unstepping or re-stepping. Andy has completed the Future Fibres Service Technicians course enabling him to deal with the servicing of composite cables and standing rigging and carry out mast and standing rigging inspections.
Angus was born in Australia, and grew up with the ocean as a consistent outlet for both leisure and professional activities. He has been sailing since he was able to walk and has raced everything from lasers, 49ers, skiffs, and offshore race boats, to multimillion dollar super yachts.
As Angus says “I wanted to become a rigger from a very young age. I was always interested in masts and how they were stepped and set up so it all just fell into place when I started working for Noakes Boatyard in Sydney Australia 16 years ago.”
Angus first joined RSB Rigging in 2018 before he moved to the United States in early 2020 to get married and take on a management position in a rigging company in Annapolis. After 3 years in the US he is now back in Mallorca with RSB, operating as a senior rigger and project manager.
Helmut joined RSB in 2008 and is a member of one of the teams responsible for the preparation of masts and booms for unstepping and re-stepping and general service work. He is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the machinery and equipment in the workshop and has proven to be a skilled and dedicated member of the team, always striving to complete each job to the highest standard.
Esteban has been with RSB since 2007 and is a member of one of the yard teams. He is extensively involved in all RSB's refit and retro-refit projects and has successfully completed the Future Fibres technician's training course making him one of our certified service agents. He is a keen sailor and understands the importance of high quality work and the requirements of the Superyacht market.
Having a degree in Natural Science shows Anthony’s persuasion for scientifically biased jobs which sits perfectly with the mathematical and physics elements of load and safety testing projects.
Before joining RSB, Anthony worked as yacht crew on a number of prestigious superyachts as deckhand, deck engineer, and private security.
Anthony started with RSB as Load Test Manager as these projects offer the perfect balance between management and the hands on technical elements.
Anthony is a certified LEEA inspector as well as having a number of yachting based courses under his belt, such as RYA PWC Jet Ski Instructor licence, Advanced Power Boat licence and MCA Advanced Engine Course.
In his spare time, he is a keen sportsman enjoying activities such as various board sports and martial arts.
Antony joined RSB in at the end of the summer Med season 2019 and is looking forward to a bright future with the company.
Marco started in the marine industry working with a company dealing with repair and maintenance of sailing boats. His interest in sailing lead him to take a number of sailing courses including the Yachtmaster qualification and complete a number of deliveries. He has been working for RSB Rigging since 2016 and has become a valuable member of the team.
Lluc has had a continued interest in the nautical world from a young age. Prior to joining RSB, Lluc studied in the CIFP Nauticopesquera learning about a broad range of skills and sectors within the nautical industry.
As part of his course, Lluc needed to complete a week’s work experience within the industry and chose RSB Rigging for the placement based on RSB’s excellent reputation. Following the compulsory work experience, Lluc was recognised as a keen member of the team and brought on board full time.
Lluc thoroughly enjoys working as a rigging assistant with RSB and continues to learn and grow professionally daily.
Jack joined RSB in 2021 and is a welcome addition to the RSB load testing team.
Jack grew up working in the outdoors, teaching sailing, surfing and paddlesports. In 2020 he moved to Mallorca and spent a year working with composites before taking an interest in rigging. His goal was to join RSB due to the company’s reputation for quality and professionalism, whilst having the ability to learn and develop in a highly skilled environment. Jack continues to develop his skills and knowledge across all aspects of what RSB encompasses.
In his spare time Jack stays true to his roots spending time on the water, and also playing rugby.
Let’s meet our rigging team member Hobby. Born and bred in Palma, Hobby started sailing very young and moved to Superyachts at the tender age of 18 when he started to sail professionally across the globe.
With his passion as his career, Hobby has turned his hand to every aspect of working with sailing yachts; from racing Superyachts to working on the build of Americas Cup competitors.
Having moved to RSB in 2022, Hobby has found where is heart is. It is our pleasure to have him as part of the team and look forward to a bright future together.
Petar joined RSB in March 2014 with a background in mechanics that has been invaluable in rig and rigging refits, load testing procedures, and splicing. He excels in detailed finishing work, particularly in rigging and load testing and has received compliments on his work during refit projects from various captains and mates. He is also certified in diving, has the STCW certificate and holds a recreational boating license. Outside of work, he enjoys the thrill of speed both on and off the water.
Franco from Argentina joined the RSB team in December 2019. It is his passion for sailing and sailing yachts that has led franco to the rigging field. he has sailed from a very young age j24, classic boats
and j70 worlds championship
Keen to learn and grow as a rigger, Franco shadows our highly skilled project managers as he expands his skills as part of our team.
Coming from a lineage of yachties, Shane brings 4.5 years of experience from his tenure at TechnoCraft, having contributed to 46 distinct projects mainly working with fixtures and fittings.
Drawn to the camaraderie at RSB, Shane is not only passionate about broadening his skill set but also thrives when armed with hefty tools. In his words, "I’m looking forward to learning as much as possible and working with the team! It is an absolute pleasure to work with the guys."
Meet Luis - An Engineer at Heart! From a young age, he was captivated by the intricacies of engineering and the meticulous care required to maintain machinery. Relocating to Mallorca opened doors to the marine world for him. Now, he's proudly diving into his 3rd season as a rigger, also showcasing his expertise as an NDT Dye Penetrant Inspector Level 2.
